Comfert dogs help calm students through finals on December 8th, 2016 in the John Gray Libary on the first floor.

Comfort dogs help calm students deal with the stress of finals, Dec. 8, in Gray Library.

Lamar University’s Gray Library hosted comfort dogs, Dec. 8. The dogs help calm students during the busy finals period. The dogs were on leashes in a partitioned area of the first floor.

The animals and their handlers are part of the Paws 4 Love Therapy Animals Group, a non-profit local chapter of the national organization Intermountain Therapy Animals that strives to bring animal-assisted therapy to schools, nursing homes, hospitals and other locations across Southeast Texas.
